ShrinkMyVid is a free tool that compresses and converts video entirely within your web browser. No video files are uploaded to us; all processing happens on your own device.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Process content you do not have the legal right to use;
• Violate any applicable law or the rights of others;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for harm, or overload the Service.

You are solely responsible for the videos you process and for ensuring you have the rights to do so.

3. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that compression will meet a specific quality, that any file will fit a particular size target, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Always keep your original files.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShrinkMyVid and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Because processing is local to your device, you retain full control of and responsibility for your files.

5. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the videos you process. The ShrinkMyVid name, design, and site content are the property of their respective owners and may not be copied without permission.

6. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, and may update these Terms, at any time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
